Cleveland Browns Earn Top Marks After Aggressive Rebuild

The Cleveland Browns entered the draft with multiple premium picks and several glaring needs. They exited with one of the strongest classes in football.

Cleveland attacked the offensive line immediately, landing Spencer Fano and later Austin Barber as part of a full-scale trench rebuild. After constant instability up front last season, the Browns clearly made protection a priority.

They also landed two impact receivers in KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, giving a struggling passing game badly needed firepower. Boston, especially, projects as one of the steals of the early rounds.

The defensive side got a boost too with Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, a high-value addition who could outperform his draft slot quickly.

Dallas Cowboys Make Statement With Defensive Overhaul

Dallas had one mission after last season’s defensive collapse, fix the defense fast.

The Cowboys did exactly that.

They traded up for safety Caleb Downs, one of the most complete defenders in the class, then grabbed edge rusher Malachi Lawrence later in Round 1. Both picks addressed major weaknesses immediately.

Additional front-seven help followed, giving Dallas a far more dangerous unit than the one that struggled badly in 2025.

The Raiders also added quality depth throughout the draft, including Treydan Stukes and Jermod McCoy, two players with real upside.

The only concern was the lack of wide receiver urgency, but finding a franchise passer covers a lot.

Philadelphia Eagles Strike Again

Philadelphia once again played the board like veterans.

The Eagles moved up for Makai Lemon, a dynamic receiver expected to help immediately, while continuing their habit of drafting for both present and future needs.

Tight end Eli Stowers and tackle Markel Bell give long-term insurance at key positions. They also added veteran edge help via trade during draft weekend.

No panic. No wasted picks. Just another polished performance.

New York Jets Add Explosive Weapons

The Jets used three first-round picks and came away with impact talent on both sides.

The New York Giants used their extra top-10 selection wisely.

Arvell Reese gives them elite athletic upside and defensive flexibility, while Francis Mauigoa should help protect their young quarterback.

They followed that by addressing cornerback and wide receiver on Day 2.

The Giants needed impact talent, and they got it.

Cardinals Bet On Explosive Talent

Arizona made one of the boldest picks in the draft by taking Jeremiyah Love early.

Traditionalists may question drafting a running back that high, but Love is more than a runner. He projects as a multi-dimensional offensive weapon.
